Used Jeep & CPO Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

A: Jeeps retain their value extremely well due to the brand's strong identity, popularity, performance, and longevity. A couple of used Jeep models in particular that are known for maintaining their value is the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

A: Jeeps make for great used cars as they're some of the most popular vehicles on the market. When buying a used Jeep, you want to make sure that you're buying from a trustworthy seller such as an official used Jeep dealership like Napleton's Mid Rivers CDJR near St. Louis.

A: Jeeps are some of the best used cars on the market due to their strong resale value, wide availability, performance, community, and reliability.

A: CPO stands for Certified Pre-Owned. A Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Vehicle is a used vehicle that meets a certain set of standards and requirements. These standards may differ based on the manufacturer, but they typically revolve around the age or mileage of the vehicle, require additional service inspections, and offer an excellent extended warranty.

A: There are many benefits of buying a CPO car. First, you gain the peace of mind knowing that each certified vehicle has gone through an extensive multi-point inspection by factory-trained technicians. Not only has the car been inspected thoroughly and held to a higher standard before you purchase it, but you also receive extended warranty coverage and 24/7 roadside assistance after purchase.

A: Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles are held to a higher standard than most used cars. The key differences are that a Certified Used Vehicle can only be so many years old and have so many miles on it to even be considered officially Certified. Then even if the vehicle is within the correct age range it must go through additional rigorous service inspections to qualify. Lastly, Certified vehicles often come with additional perks like an extended warranty and 24/7 roadside assistance.

A: Whether Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles are "better" than a used car or not is up to you and your needs. CPO Vehicles offer extra peace of mind with their additional inspections and extended warranties, however, you can often get a standard used car for less and you may have a wider range of options with a standard used car.

A: Buying a used car that isn't certified is still a great option. This is especially true when you're buying from a reliable used car dealer like Napleton's Mid Rivers CDJR.

A: Each manufacturer sets its own standards for a used vehicle to qualify as Certified. Generally, a vehicle must meet requirements such as being within a certain age, having limited mileage, passing a thorough multi-point inspection, having no frame damage, maintaining a clean vehicle history report, and more.

A: While there isn't a universal single best CPO brand for everyone, Certified Jeep and Certified RAM vehicles are a couple that often rank near the top based on reliability, warranty coverage, resale value, and owner satisfaction.

A: Yes, you can apply for financing and pre-qualify for competitive financing rates at Napleton's Mid Rivers CDJR.
