In the 70s and 80s, the Wagoneer was one of the premier large vehicles on the market. To the disappointment of many, the Wagoneer was discontinued in 1991. Fortunately, the dream of finding a Jeep Wagoneer for sale came back to life when it was reintroduced in 2022. Since its creation, the Wagoneer has always been designed as an answer to fitting the whole family, and the current iteration is no different. The standard 8-passenger Wagoneer offers plenty of space at all levels of its three-row cabin. In fact, at 214.7 in length, it is one of the largest full-size SUVs on the markets today. If that isn't enough space, the Wagoneer L tacks on an additional 12.3 inches. You will be hard-pressed to find an SUV that offers more passenger and cargo space, especially at that price point. The Wagoner isn't just size, though. A beefy Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine, which is standard on all trim levels, provides 420 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft. of torque. To top it all off is an interior that has plenty of bells and whistles, providing comfort and technology for all passengers. This is one full-size SUV you will not want to miss out on!

One thing is clear when you're seated inside the Wagoneer: space is abundant. The 179 cubic feet of passenger space is one of the largest on the full-size SUV market today. Pair that with 27.4 cu ft of trunk space with all the seats up and a maximum cargo capacity of 116.7 cu ft, and you're left with a cavernous interior fit to move just about anything. Large families will be drawn to the Jeep Wagoneer's 8-seater interior, as even the second and third-row middle seats provide a solid amount of space. If you don't need all 8 seats, you may opt for the second-row captain's chairs, which reduce the total passenger capacity to 7 but provide a deluxe experience for the rear passengers. The Wagoneer's interior isn't just big; it offers plenty of deluxe features as well. An 8-way power adjustable driver seat with heating and ventilation comes standard, and rear heated seats are available as well. The Wagoneer offers up to 40 inches of total screen display available. How do you get to that number, you may ask? For starters, a 10.1-inch center console infotainment screen and 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster come standard, offering 20 inches in the front, plus two more available 10-inch rear passenger screens with Amazon Fire TV built-in are offered for higher trims. Whether it's a short trip to St. Louis or a long road trip all over the US, the Wagoneer will comfortably handle it all. Shop our Wagoneer inventory now to get started on your next great adventure!

While there are plenty of great standard features for the base model, the Series II, Carbide, and Series III Wagoneer models do offer some additional benefits. The base model is the only Wagoneer that has an 8-seat configuration come standard, but it is available for all higher trims as well. All models offer leather interiors, with the base model offering Capri leather while all other trims upgrade to Nappa leather. Two color options are available: global black or sea salt/black on all models with the exception of the Carbide, which offers black only, as that package is designed with a dark interior and exterior in mind. Keeping the Wagoneer's trim differences in mind is a good starting point for which model you may want.
Take one look at the Wagoneer, and you can tell that it has earned the name of its ancestor. The Wagoneer offers a classic silhouette, showcasing numerous carefully crafted details that create a striking presence. Much like the original, it has broad stance with large windows that enhance visibility. A quick look at the side profile reveals a refined shape with a sleek roofline and continuous A-line design that pay tribute to the original Wagoneer. Of course, the Wagoneer wouldn't be complete without the iconic Jeep seven-slot grille. Standard features such as an acoustic laminated windshield and front door glass help reduce outside noise. At the back, LED taillights stretch from the rear quarter panel to the standard hands-free power liftgate, enhancing the vehicle's premium appearance. The distinctive "Series" badging on the liftgate discreetly signifies the unique configuration of each vehicle. The Wagoneer comes standard with 18-inch wheels, with an optional upgrade to 20- or 22-inch painted and polished wheels. Long story short, if you were a fan of the original, the modern version is exactly what you want it to be. Don't just take our word for it though; visit us today and see the new Wagoneer in person today at our Jeep dealer in St. Peters. Check out our new Wagoneer inventory
Recap:
On the exterior of the Wagoneer, most of the trims look similar, with some deluxe options offered. The only exception to this would be for the carbide package, which essentially offers a blacked-out version of the Wagoneer as well as some added design elements. Beyond that, features such as power deployable running boards and certain rim options are only available on some higher trims. Take a look below at the great standard features as well as some potential upgrades for the Wagoneer:
Jeep Wagoneer Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 Engine Specs | |
---|---|
Horsepower | 420 hp |
Torque | 468 ft.lb. |
Combined MPG | 20 MPG |

The Wagoneer's only engine option currently available is the Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine, which sets a new standard for power and efficiency in the large SUV category. It delivers a robust 420 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft. of torque while being up to 15% more efficient than larger V-8 engines. The Wagoneer boasts four robust steel skid plates that safeguard the bottom as well as an available electronically controlled Quadra-Lift Air Suspension system to ensure a smooth performance in on and off-road situations. The Wagoneer offers three 4x4 systems: Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II that optimize performance and torque distribution to ensure maximum traction, allowing you to take on difficult driving conditions. The Wagoneer can even handle water fording up to 24 inches. Overall, this is a full-size SUV that doesn't sacrifice performance. Explore the Wagoneer for sale today!
Recap:
While all Wagoneer models have the same engine, there are some performance upgrades depending on which trim level you choose. Options like the electronic rear limited-slip differential on the Series II trim can have an impact on off-road and poor weather performance, so you will want to keep in mind what you plan on using the Wagoneer for when deciding on the best trim.
